  2. Apothecary An apothecary is a type of doctor. The apothecary prescribes drugs. They treat people who are sick.

  3. Tailor A tailor is a person that fits clothes for people. They make it so the clothing is perfect for the persons body.

  4. Weaver A weaver weaves blankets and fabric for people to purchase. They weave many different things out of fabric.

  5. Slavery Slavery is a horrible thing it is when whites used black people to do hard work in the fields. Men also would rape black women just for the fun of it.

  6. Tools There were many different tools back then such as: hammers, planes, and saws. Hammers are the same as today and were used to pound nails into other types of hard things.

  7. Clothing Women- Women had to wear a cap, cape, cloak, dress, and usually a coarsest. Men- Men had to wear breeches, hats, a coat, and usually a powdered wig.

  8. Eve Eve is a household slave. Eve was one of 27 slaves that belonged to Peyton Randolph. One month after Peytons death
