Benefit of the software • User friendly (easy to operate). • It is for four assessment years software comprise AY 2010-11 to AY 2013-14. • Provides auto computation of total income and tax liability adopting tax saving policies in the interest of assessee for ITR-1, ITR-2, ITR-3, ITR-4, ITR-4S, ITR-5 & ITR-6.

  3. Benefit of the software • Incorporating e-payment of tax through challan ITNS280. • Incorporating data back-up and restore facility. • Incorporating facility to generate physical income tax return. • Incorporating facility to auto generate Tax Audit Form(i.e., 3CA, 3CB & 3CD).

Benefit of the software • Incorporating TDS, TCS, Advance tax and Self-assessment tax import facility directly from 26AS statement. • Incorporating aids to the users through help files attached with every ITR form at different important points. • Incorporating useful links as BSR codes, upload ITR etc.

Coverage of the software • Provisions of Finance act 2012(AY 2013-14),Finance act 2011(AY 2012-13), Finance act 2010(AY 2011-12)&Finance act2009 (AY 2010-11) and corresponding income tax rules. • Computation of income under different heads of income, i.e., salary, House Property, Business or Profession, Capital Gains and Other sources.

Workflow of ITR • The very first step is installation of ITR software that user can do by CD. • Following are 3 screen will come for that. • On first screen, select the desired role. • Single- For single user. • Server- For multi user. • Client – For data entry in case server version installed.

  12. REGISTRATION PROCESS • After installation, registration process has to be followed that we are presenting in following screen. Select the correct option for registration of ITR E-FILING.

  13. USER REGISTRATION Enter user profile information with valid registration Keys

  14. GET ACTIVATION CODE Use one of the option to get activation code

  15. USER LOGIN

  16. Multiple user can be created. This will provide a security against abuse by wrong users.

  17. SELECTION OF ITR FORMSPlease select the applicable ITR forms which you wish to file, from the button “Select New ITR”. On clicking the said button following screen will appear :

  18. SELECTION OF INCOMESPlease select the incomes for computation thereof.

  19. ON SELECTION OF THE ITR FORM FOLLOWING SCREEN WILL APPEAR :

  20. KNOW YOUR RESIDENTIAL STATUSOn clicking the button “Select Status” the screen given below will appear, provide the inputs and check your residential status.

  21. COMPUTATION OF TAXABLE ALLOWANCES, PERQUISITES ETC.Please click on “Compute” button and provide requisite details and get the taxable salary chargeable under the head “Salaries”. On clicking the said button following screen will appear :

  22. COMPUTATION OF INCOME CHARGEABLE UNDER THE HEAD “INCOME FROM HOUSE PROPERTY”Please click on “Compute” button and provide requisite details and get the income chargeable under the head “Income from house property”. On clicking the said button following screen will appear :

  23. COMPUTATION OF SHORT TERM AS WELL AS LONG TERM CAPITAL GAINPlease click on “Compute” button and provide the requisite detail and get the income chargeable under the head “Income from capital gains”. On clicking the said button following screen will appear :

  24. CALCULATION OF ALLOWABLE DEPRECIATIONPlease click on “Compute” button and provide the requisite detail and get the allowable depreciation and auto transfer thereof in Schedules DFP, DCG accordingly. On clicking the said button following screen will appear :

COMPUTATION OF BOOK PROFITSComputation of book profit and maximum remuneration which is deductible as per section 40(b), amount which deductible/not deductible on account of remuneration and auto transfer thereof. Please click on “Compute” button to get the result, on clicking said button following screen will appear :

COMPUTATION OF ACCRUED INTEREST ON NSCComputation of allowable deduction under Chapter VIA including allowable total deductible deductions under sections 80C, 80CCC, 80CCD and calculation of accrued interest on NSC purchased in earlier years. On clicking “Compute” button following screen will appear :

  27. COMPUTATION OF INCOME-TAX, SURCHARGE, EDUCATION CESS AND MARGINAL RELIEFPlease click on “Compute” button to compute Income-tax, Surcharge, Education cess and Marginal relief. On clicking the said button following screen will appear :

  32. GENERATION AND VALIDATION OF XML FILESWhen your return is filled up please first click on “Save” button and then click on “Validate/Generate” button. If there is any error in XML file it will display those errors. You can locate and rectify these errors by clicking on these errors. Please rectify these errors, save the validated XML file and then upload it on www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

  33. GENERATION OF CHALLANYou can print self assessment challanas per following steps -Step 1 - Click on “Master” button and select the assessee.Step 2 - Click on “Challan” button and fill the general details and then click on “Print” button.Step 3 - Take print out of Challan to deposit the Tax.

  34. Coverage of the software • Auto adjustment of losses & transfer thereof in schedules CYLA, BFLA & CFL. • Computation of interest under sections 234A, 234B & 234C. • Computation of book profit and MAT.

Tips • For better execution, your system settings should be as follows: • Regional setting English(United States) • Resolution 1024 by 768 pixels • Color High colors 16/24 Bit • Date setting dd/mm/yyyy (Go to Control panel > Regional Settings >Date > short date style) and date separator should be-/.
