ANALYZE THE CALLED AND CALLING PARTIES TO HELP OUT SWITCHING FOR THE NOS OF SAME SM. Signaling path PERFORMS COMMUNICATION b/w MPU AND BOARDS IN USER AND TRUNK FRAMES. Speech path INTEROFFICE DIGITAL TRUNK INTERFACE, 16 DTF = 960 CHANNELS AND 1 DTF = 2 PCM 40.96 Mbps OPTICAL INTERFACE TO OBC BOARD OF AM/CM OF HCTE. IT’S A PHYSICAL TERMINATION CARD. MPU NOD DT SIG DT DT OPT BNET 1 ASL CARD DRV 2 32 RECEIVES DTMF SIGNALS, DRIVES HW SIGNALS AND SENDS PORT SIGNALS INTRA-MODULE SWITCHING NETWORK BOARD, 4K X 4K SWITCHING NETWORK ANALOG SUBSCRIBERS “BORSCHT” FUNCTION

Work Station contains a software program that is used to configure boards, monitor alarms, analyze traffic statistics, access the data at BAM storage media and perform several other useful tasks. C&C08 AM/CM FUNCTION This unit performs routing and switching. It can understand the prefixes. SNU is skirt N/W unit and CNU is the main central N/W unit. NCC performs N/W communication control and BDR is the BUS driver for the interface of this module. WORK STATION CNET NCC SS7 SIGNALING PATH SIGNAL TONE PATH SPEECH PATH SNU CNU BDR Alarm board for all system alarm processing. ALARM Line Interface Module provides linkage of incoming and outgoing traffic to the AM/CM..It contains optical and electrical interfaces at different data rates defined along with a specified capacity. HDLC BUS control process board. Used for BUS communication b/w AMP and CDP. Communication control module that interlinks CPM, LIM,SPM and CNET through HDLC 393M Optical Interface Provides communication bridge b/w OAM and WS. It consists of KVMS, LAN switches, Server and storage media. All the database and programs required by the system are stored here. High Speed interface board that interconnects LIM,CNET and CCM. Provides Speech and Signaling path. SERIAL LINK RS-232 Admin and maintenance processing and online data setting. TCP/IP LIM Central Processing Module performs various important tasks related to call processing. It performs alarm monitoring and processing, ticket generation for the calls, duration calculation, billing and routing etc. CCM OBC BCP SM BAM HDLC QSI Central database processing and management of common resources. Deals location selection of PBX, trunk line etc. 16 E1s HDLC 10Mbps Destination ET-16 FSN BAC AMP Service processing module provides a variety of interfaces like R2 No.5 and implements SS7 system, provides signaling path. Multi highway interface is a part of LIM and provides 2M & 8M HW Shared resource module provides DTMF, MFC, Conference Telephone and FSK display device services. SPD is signal tone while SRC is shared resource card.
