  2. Introduction • This is a power point about Victorians. • You will see lots of different facts and pictures of the Victorians. • You will see how life has changed and what has happened through the years.

  3. The school of the Victorians • In Victorian times lessons finished at 5o’clock and they were very different to our times. • The Cane was used to whack people who were naughty. • The biggest group of people were the lower class.

  4. The work of the children • In victorian times the very young poor people worked and didn’t go to school because they could not afford to pay the price. • They went down black,sutty mines and the chubby ones got stuck and died of the hunger and the thirst. • The poor people only ate bread and only had dirty ,unsafe water.

The work of the children continues • The Victorians woke up very early to get to work other wise they wouldn’t get paid as much money. • In Victorian times the little workers had to open the small, dusty shaft doors becaus4e the older ones couldn’t reach because they were to big, the older ones pushed the coal trucks through the cave. • Boys made wooden clocks with the help of girls and just a little bit of fire to light the hallway.

Queen Victoria. • Victoria was 19 when she was crowed a gorgeous queen. • In 1837 queen Victoria died and when she died a few years before her husband died iof typhoid. • Queen Victoria had a nick name which was Drina because her real name was Alexandrina she also had 9 children 4 boys and 5 girls.

Queen Victoria's second paragraph • Queen Victoria reigned for 63 years. • When Victoria was a princess she smiled a lot ,but when she was starting to get older she started to stop smiling so much ,when she had her first portrait she didn’t smile. • Queen Victoria's saddest moment was the death of prince Albert.
