  1. DOL 17Chinese Tales I read the collection of stories called Tales from Old China by Isabelle c Chang. The selections from chinese literture includes folk tales fairy tales and fables. Yesterday aunt helen read me the story called the fox and the fish. She said “The story is a fable and it teaches we readers a lesson.

  2. DOL 17Chinese Tales • Some of the stories in Chang’s collection does not seem very different from fable by aesop. • Chang writes the moral of each fable one says, “you cannot eat your cake and still have it.” • on saturday I read an intresting story called “Ma Ki.”

  3. DOL 17Chinese Tales • Its about a greedy landlord and Ma Ki an orphan boy. • The illlustrations in Tales from old China are by Tony chen a talented artist. • I like his drawings of a dragon, a elephant a fox and a large dinner party.
