  1. Filming Presentation Paige Roden

  2. Genre • For the opening sequence of the film we have decided on a thriller/horror genre. • As part of the research into the genre of the film I watched and analysed “Jennifer’s Body”, “Se7en” and “Halloween”, all of which are horror/thriller films • By watching these and looking online I learned about the traits of thriller/horror films • Some of these traits include: low eerie music, dark lighting, spidery fonts (for the titles), fade in/fade out

  3. The Idea • The inspiration for the film idea came from the films “Se7en”, “Black Swan” and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” • The film is based upon schizophrenia and split personalities • The person in the film will be talking to themselves; in order to create this we will have two cameras filming in order to get the different angles • From the opening sequence of “Se7en” we decided that in the film there will be diagrams and writing relating to schizophrenia e.g. Diagrams of Siamese twins – We will use lots of close ups and panning techniques for them • There will be eerie music in the background in order to heighten the tension
