  1. Despite its name, the present perfect tense in Spanish (and English as well) is used to refer to events that happened in the past. In Spanish, the present perfect tense is formed by the present tense of haber followed by the past participle. (In English it's the present tense of "to have" followed by the past participle.) ¿QuÉes el presente perfecto?

  4. El presente perfecto es un tiempo compuesto. (compound tense) formado con el presente del verbo HABER (tohave) y el PARTICIPIO PASADO de otro verbo. EL PARTICIPIO PASADO se forma cambiando la terminación AR ADO HABLAR HABLADO ER IDO COMER COMIDO IR IDO ASISTIR ASISTIDO EL PRESENTE PERFECTO

  6. We use present perfect: 1- When speaking about something (an action) that was true in the past and still true in the present. He estudiadoespañolpor dos años.( I have studied spanish for two years.) 2- To indicate that an action was completed recently. He terminado la tarea. 3- To tell what you have or have not done. He estudiadoespañolpero no he estudiadoalemán. EL USO DEL PRESENTE PERFECTO
