  4. World Scientific Platform Currently, HSMC Library has access to two collections, namely Asian Studies and Social Sciences Collection 2014 and 2015. Search across all our books, E-Books and journals Check out the Advanced Search for even more search options • There are also options to limit your search within specific titles, publications dates and more.

  5. World Scientific Platform Choose Book Titles if you are looking for full books Choose Chapters/Articles, the search includes the full text pdfs to give you the most relevant results Choose Journals Titles will limit the search to journal articles only

  6. World Scientific Platform The default search scope will automatically change according to which page you are on. Select and highlights the text for easy copying and pasting You can sign up for Table of Contents alerts here Online Ready are the articles are ready and citable but yet to be assigned to an issue

  7. World Scientific Platform You can switch Tabs to the corresponding results (with counts) for book and journal titles After a search, you can ‘save’ your search and set to be alerted regularly via email

The Full Access icon shows which chapters are accessible (purchased by your institution) A green icon represents free contents, and an orange icon means the article is Open Access World Scientific Platform Searchable PDF allows you to find the text you want Download/Access PDF chapter Select and highlights the text for easy copying and pasting >> Our IP-linked system detects the titles a library has purchased and automatically enables access

If you have bought a personal copy to the E-book, you can come back anytime to download it again You can activate your Tokens here. Access tokens allow you to activate and access content online Managed your personal details here. Check out what Chapters/Articles you have access to. You may have bought them via Pay per View, or have gained free access after activating a Token After a Search, you can save the search and set up a regular alert. You can manage these saved searches here.

  10. Frequently Asked Questions Q.1 How many users can access at the same time? No limit. Many researchers can be reading the same eBook at the same time. Q.2 Can I access my library’s eBooks and journals remotely? Yes, if you are outside of the campus, and are able to log onto the campus network, they will have the same access as they would have on the physical campus. Q.3 Can I download or print? Yes. Q.4 Are textbooks available as eBooks? No, not currently.
