  • 1936, received chimp stuffed chimp toy as gift, named Jubilee

  • Observed hens in chicken house for hours patiently

  • Loved learning about animals

  • 1944,age 10 wanted to travel Africa when she grew up

  • 1952, graduated high school at the age of 18

  • Mother only send to secretarial school

  • 1953, Goodall attended Queen’s Secretarial School

  • Left school at 18 to work

  • Got new job from Leakey a few months on studying chimps

  • Studied at Gombe National Park
