  1. First preliminary results on 2004 muon data • Saclay muon group • First look on the data taken with barrel chamber movement (BIL rotation). Sagitta is calculated before and after alignment corrections. • First look on the raw data taken last week H8 meeting 4 august 2004

  2. First look at the data with movement of BIL • Analysis of runs with controlled BIL rotation. • Alignment corrections taken from Claude’s program • Checks between ASAP and Claude’s progam are on going. • Reconstruction is done with Muonboy in Athena • Last year’s RT relations are used. • Sagitta analysis with the standard cuts: One segment in each of the 3 stations Number of hits for BIL (BML,BOL) >7 (5 , 5)

  3. These very preliminary results give : residuals after alignment ~40 microns

  4. First look at the raw data taken last week From the beam profile (i.e hits per tube in all chambers ) we expect : a flat distribution for the hodoscope's trigger a peak on some tubes for the 10x10 trigger Some runs with hodo trigger taken just after the 10 x10 trigger do not behave like that (plots p. 7,8,9) Noise level at different chambers thresholds (-36mV , -40mV, -44mV, -48mV) (plots p. 10,11)

  5. Raw data , E beam= 250 GeV BIL 1 BIL 2

  6. Raw data , E beam= 250 GeV BML2 BML1

  7. Raw data , E beam= 250 GeV

  8. Raw data , E beam= 250 GeV , trigger 10 x 10 Run 600779 Threshold at -36 mV Noise ~1 / 8 Run 600764 Threshold at -40 mV Noise 1 / 35

  9. Raw data , E beam= 250 GeV , trigger 10 x 10 Run 600739 Threshold at -44 mV Run 600795 Threshold at -48 mV
