  1. Welcome to Slovakia The country is situated in the middle of Europe and it has the boarders with the Czech republic, Poland, Ukraine, Hungary and Austria. Jánošík is a slovak national hero, who according to the legend led himself by motto “taking from the rich and giving to the poor”.

  2. Bánska Bystrica Ľudovít Štúr Ľudovít Štúr was a politician, Slovak poet, journalist, publisher, teacher, philosopher, linguist, but mainly the leader of the Slovak national revival in the 19th century and the author of the Slovak language standard eventually leading to the contemporary Slovak literary language.

  3. SlovakMountains There are mountains up to 2655 metres above sea level and we can meet there a marmot, a chamois and also a bear. Shepherd is typical Slovak man who takes care about sheep on a mountain meadows and he makes a cheese “bryndza” and a drink from sheep milk called “žinčica” which is very healthy.

  4. Natural Wealth Caves are one of the most Slovak natural wealth. On the territory of Slovak republic, there are about 3950 caves and 4 of them belongs to the UNESCO. ThermalBaths Thermal baths , spas and relaxation centres are built over whole Slovakia using different thermal and mineral sources with healing effects.
