  2. Service Dispatch From the Main Screen choose Service Dispatch System – SO Daily Processing Menu – Column Schedule

  3. The Pick Territory/Date screen will come up. Enter the Schedule Code for the Branch location you want to access Service Order scheduling for.

  4. In this example Schedule Code 100 was used. By pressing the “TAB” key on the keyboard the other data field will fill in. If you want to view today’s information the “Days Ahead To Look At” field should be set to “0” “F8 – OK”

  5. The Column Schedule Screen will appear showing all service orders for that day. • ***NOTE*** An overview of this screen will be covered separately. Dispatching and Closing a service order will be covered in this section. • There are several methods for scheduling a service order from this screen: • Click on the service order you want to work with (This will put a border around the service order). • Left click on the service order and “Drag and Drop it to the appropriate technician. • Right click on the service order and it will bring up a sub-menu. • Proceed to next slide • ***Note*** • Scheduling a service order directly to a technician at time of service order entry is covered in the service order entry training section

  6. ***Note*** Service order with the border around it and the sub-menu. Select “Change” from the sub-menu This will bring up the “Call Schedules” screen. “F2 – New” to schedule service order

  7. Complete/verify/update the information contained in the Day, Date, Tech, Time, Urgent and ETTC fields. (ETTC = Estimated Time To Complete) “F8 – OK” This will move the service order to the assigned technician for the date and time indicated. Returning you to the Column Schedule Screen ***Note*** The screen may need to refresh before the service order physically moves to the technicians column.
