  2. About myself My name’s Helen I’m a primary school teacher I work in grammar school №11 I learnt about the IB programme two years ago. I got interested in this system of education. I decided that it’s necessary to study English, to support the IB mission.

  3. My job • I work with primary school children • I have special qualifications • I have 20 years’ teaching experience • I like my job

  4. I would like to work as a PYP teacher, because… -it is interesting, fantastic, important for me, for my career - I am energetic, active, I like teaching, studying, new technologies, working with children - I am an inquirer, knowledgeable, a thinker, a communicator, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-taker, balanced, reflective (so I can be a role model for children) My prospects

  5. Participation in this project gave me motivation to self-development and self-education, it also gave me an opportunity to evaluate my professional activity.

  6. My English achievements • I have been learning English for 2 years • I mastered classroom English • I have achieved pre-intermediate level of English in writing , reading , speaking and listening

  7. I have attended and taken part in the conferences and seminars (workshops) I have created the electronic professional portfolio I often use the Internet in my professional work I’ve developed my professional qualities of an IB teacher I’ve improved my qualifications I can give lessons with the use of computers and smart boards My professional achievements

  8. It’s quite difficult to use the assessment criteria of the IB programme. It’s also difficult to write lesson plans according to the IB requirements. These problems can be solved if I share my experience with other IB teachers. The difficulties that I faced

  9. The way I developed my professional competence • Read IB documents • Wrote my own lesson plans , created different presentations • Participated in workshops and conferences • Mastered my English

  10. I would like to study special terms on my subject to be able to use them. I would like to create and publish my own electronic sample resources in the Internet. I would like to develop my own capabilities for lifelong learning. I would liketo develop multimedia competency of the IB teacher. I feel that I’m prepared to give lessons in the IB Primary Years Programme. My professional plans

  11. Conclusion • I’d like to thank you all and say my words of gratitude to the teaching staff and the organizers ,who gave me a chance to get this education and take part in the IB project !!!
