  1. Different Types of Polo Shirts

  2. Deciding Between Various Polo Shirts • Custom Polo Shirts are comfortable, cost effective and available in a wide array of colors and styles. • However selecting from so many different shirts can be a bit confusing, when they all look so similar but are sold at different prices. ………..Here is a guide describing various types of polo shirts to help you find out the best shirt for your needs.

  3. Cotton A cotton polo shirt is very convenient and breathable making it a good choice for hot work environments. It can be either embroidered or screen printed. However cotton may fade quicker or lose its shape than synthetic fabrics.

  4. Polyester Polyester wrinkles less so it needs less ironing. However the fabric is not as soft as cotton making it less comfortable to wear as sweating can be a problem. Normally these are only embroidered as screen printing wears off of the cloth quickly.

  5. Poly-cotton Mix Some polo shirts are described as having a mix of cotton and polyester. They have the advantages of both cotton and polyester, preserving their shape and still breathable. However the combination of both threads means the shirt is neither as breathable as a fully cotton shirt nor keeps its shape as well as a polyester one.

  6. Jersey Knit Jersey knit shirts are made of elastic-like material and do not wrinkle. They are in the medium price range and are good for embroidery but not for screen printing due to the texture of the fabric.

  7. Silk Silk polo shirts are mostly preferred for dressy occasions. The silk makes the shirt shine while staying light and comfortable. However Silk wrinkles easily, is very expensive and cannot be printed or embroidered.

  8. Performance Performance polo shirts are quality shirts made with additional features such as UV protection and odor reducers. They are created to be stain resistant and durable. These shirts are not usually screen printed because of the high price of the shirt but are sometimes embroidered. …….Read More @ https://storify.com/Bradford80/guide-to-different-types-of-polo-shirts#publicize
