  7. WITH APPROVEDOPS. SPECS. FOR CONTINUOUS MAINT. PROGRAM • SHALL MAKE A RECORD OF MAINTENANCE, PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, REBUILDING, AND ALTERATIONS FOR: • AIRFRAMES, ENGINES, PROPELLERS, APPLIANCES, OR COMPONENT PARTS WHICH IT OPERATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE PROVISIONS OF PART 121, 127, OR 135 FAR 43.9(b)

  8. PROGRESSIVE INSPECTION SIGN-OFF IF YOU DISAPPROVE THE AIRCRAFT FOR RETURN TO SERVICE, YOU MUST ADD THIS STATEMENT TO YOUR SIGN-OFF: “AND A LIST OF DISCREPANCIES AND UNAIRWORTHY ITEMS DATED (DATE) HAS BEEN PROVIDED TO THE AIRCRAFT OWNER OR OPERATOR.” FAR 43.11(a)

INSPECTION PROGRAMSUNDER 91, 123, 125, OR 135.411(a)(1) THE INSPECTION PROGRAM, THAT PART OF THE INSPECTION PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHED, CONTAIN A STATEMENT THAT THE INSPECTION WAS PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INSPECTIONS AND PROCEDURES FOR THAT PARTICULAR PROGRAM. THE ENTRY MUST IDENTIFY FAR 43.11(a)(7)

  11. REPORTING MECHANICAL IRREGULARITIES • EACH CARRIER SHALL • PROVIDE AN AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE LOG TO BE CARRIED ON BOARD EACH AIRCRAFT FOR • RECORDING OR DEFERRING MECHANICAL IRREGULARITIES AND THEIR CORRECTION FAR 135.65

  12. REPORTING MECHANICAL IRREGULARITIES • PIC SHALL ENTER OR HAVE ENTERED EACH MECHANICAL IRREGULARITY THAT COMES TO THE PILOT’S ATTENTION DURING FLIGHT TIME. • BEFORE EACH FLIGHT, THE PIC SHALL DETERMINE THE STATUS OF EACH ITEM PREVIOUSLY ENTERED IN THE LOG FAR 135.65

  13. REPORTING MECHANICAL IRREGULARITIES • EACH PERSON WHO TAKES CORRECTIVE ACTION OR DEFERS ...SHALL RECORD THE ACTION TAKEN IN THE LOG • EACH CERTIFICATE HOLDER SHALL ESTABLISH A PROCEDURE FOR KEEPING COPIES OF THE LOG...SHALL INCLUDE THAT PROCEDURE IN THE MANUAL REQUIRED BY 135.21 FAR 135.65

  14. SUBPART J (135.411-135.433) APPLICABILITY. (1) AIRCRAFT THAT ARE TYPE CERTIFICATED WITH 9 OR LESS PASSENGER SEATS SHALL BE MAINTAINED UNDER 91, 43, AND 135.415, 135.417, AND 135.421. AN APPROVED INSPECTION PROGRAM MAY BE USED UNDER 135.419. 135.411

  15. SUBPART J (135.411-135.433) APPLICABILITY. (2) AIRCRAFT TCd FOR 10 OR MORE SEATS SHALL BE MAINTAINED UNDER 135.415, 135.417, AND 135.423 THROUGH 135.443 (b) A CERTIFICATE HOLDER WHO IS NOT REQUIRED, MAY ELECT TO USE (a)(2) OF THIS SECTION 135.411

  16. 135.419 AAIP • (1) INSTRUCTIONS AND PROCEDURES FOR THE CONDUCT OF INSPECTIONS • (3) INSTRUCTIONS AND PROCEDURES FOR RECORDING DISCREPANCIES FOUND DURING INSPECTIONS AND CORRECTIONS OR DEFERRAL.. INCLUDING DISPOSITION OF RECORDS

  17. MANUAL REQUIREMENTS135.427 (c) EACH CERTIFICATE HOLDER SHALL PUT IN ITS MANUAL A SUITABLE SYSTEM (WHICH MAY INCLUDE A CODED SYSTEM) THAT PROVIDES FOR THE RETENTION OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION

  18. MANUAL REQUIREMENTS135.427 (c) (1) A DESCRIPTION (OR REFERENCE TO ACCEPTABLE DATA) OF THE WORK PERFORMED (2) THE NAME OF THE PERSON PERFORMING THE WORK IF THE WORK IS PERFORMED BY SOMEONE ELSE (3) NAME OR OTHER POSITIVE ID OF PERSON APPROVING FOR RETURN TO SERVICE

  19. RECORDING REQUIREMENTS 135.439 (a) EACH CERTIFICATE HOLDER SHALL KEEP THE FOLLOWING RECORDS FOR THE PERIODS SPECIFIED. (1) ALL RECORDS NECESSARY TO SHOW THAT ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE AIRWORTHINESS RELEASE HAVE BEEN MET.

  20. RECORDING REQUIREMENTS 135.439 (2) RECORDS CONTAINING: (i) TOTAL TIME IN SERVICE OR EACH AIRFRAME, ENGINE, PROPELLER, AND ROTOR (ii) CURRENT STATUS OF LIFE-LIMITED PARTS (iii) TIME SINCE OVERHAUL ON EACH ITEM INSTALLED WHICH ARE REQUIRED TO BE OVERHAULED

  21. RECORDING REQUIREMENTS 135.439 (iv) IDENTIFICATION OF THE CURRENT INSPECTION STATUS OF THE AIRCRAFT, INCLUDING THE TIME SINCE THE LAST INSPECTIONS REQUIRED BY THE INSPECTION PROGRAM UNDER WHICH THE AIRCRAFT AND APPLIANCES ARE MAINTAINED.

  22. RECORDING REQUIREMENTS 135.439 (v) CURRENT STATUS OF APPLICABLE ADS, INCLUDING DATE, METHOD OF COMPLIANCE, AND IF RECURRING, THE TIME THE NEXT ACTION IS REQUIRED. (vi) A LIST OF CURRENT MAJOR ALTERATIONS AND REPAIRS

  23. RECORDING REQUIREMENTS 135.439 (b) EACH CERTIFICATE HOLDER SHALL RETAIN THE RECORDS REQUIRED TO BE KEPT BY THIS SECTION FOR THE FOLLOWING PERIODS.

  24. RECORDING REQUIREMENTS 135.439 (b) (1)EXCEPT FOR THE RECORDS OF THE LAST COMPLETE OVERHAUL...THE RECORDS SPECIFIED IN PARAGRAPH (a)(1) SHALL BE RETAINED UNTIL THE WORK IS REPEATED OR SUPERSEDED OR FOR ONE YEAR AFTER THE WORK IS PERFORMED

  25. RECORDING REQUIREMENTS 135.439 (b) • (2) RECORDS OF THE LAST OVERHAUL OF EACH AIRFRAME, ENGINE, PROPELLER, ROTOR, AND APPLIANCE SHALL BE RETAINED UNTIL THE WORK IS SUPERSEDED BY WORK OF EQUIVALENT SCOPE AND DETAIL.

  26. RECORDING REQUIREMENTS 135.439 (b) (3) RECORDS SPECIFIED IN (a)(2) SHALL BE RETAINED AND TRANSFERRED WITH THE AIRCRAFT AT THE TIME THE AIRCRAFT IS SOLD. **ALSO REFER TO 135.411 FOR MORE SPECIFIC INFORMATION.

  27. AIRWORTHINESS RELEASE OR MAINTENANCE LOG ENTRY (a) NO CERTIFICATE HOLDER MAY OPERATE...PREPARES OR CAUSES... TO PREPARE (1) AIRWORTHINESS RELEASE (2) APPROPRIATE ENTRY IN LOG (b) RELEASE OR ENTRY MUST... (1) BE PREPARED IAW MANUAL 135.443

  28. (2) INCLUDE CERTIFICATION THAT- (i) WORK WAS PERFORMED IAW CERTIFICATE HOLDERS MANUAL. (ii) ALL ITEMS REQUIRED TO BE INSPECTED ... WORK WAS SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED. (ii) NO KNOWN CONDITION EXISTS THAT WOULD MAKE AIRCRAFT UNAIRWORTHY. (vi) SO FAR AS THE WORK PERFORMED, THE AIRCRAFT IS IN A CONDITION FOR SAFE OPERATION 135.443

  29. AIRWORTHINESS RELEASE (3) BE SIGNED BY AN AUTHORIZED PERSON... (c) INSTEAD OF RESTATING EACH OF THE CONDITIONS REQUIRED BY (b) OF THIS SECTION, THE CERTIFICATE HOLDER MAY STATE IN ITS MANUAL THAT THE SIGNATURE OF THE PERSON CONSTITUTES THAT CERTIFICATION. _____ 135.443
