  4. Fire Drill • Students will evacuate to designated areas in an expeditious manner • Teachers will take their Emergency Response Plan Binders • Take attendance when you reach designated area • Report inconsistencies to Reyes/Carr *** FIRE, FIRE, FIRE

  7. Earthquake Drill • Upon command od, “DUCK”, drop to knees, facing away from windows. • Take cover by getting under/below equipment (desk, chair, table, etc.). • Grasp Equipment (furniture legs, etc.) with hands and hold tightly. • Wait quietly for further instructions ***Duck & Cover

  8. Drop/Take Cover Drill • Upon the command of “Take Cover,” drop to knees with your back to the windows, place head in lap and clasp hands behind the neck • Wait quietly for further instructions ***Take Cover

  9. Lock Down • Lock doors • Close blinds and cover door windows if necessary • Move students away from windows • Remain in classroom until emergency is over • Post Red/Green card on classroom window

  10. Lock Down Response Vs. No Response • Response- Activates the Emergency Response Team, which includes admin team and office staff. • No Response- Does not activate the Emergency Response Team because the threat is too dangerous.

  11. Special Cases • 2 students in wheelchairs • AC (11th Grade) • CA (9th Grade) • Teacher along with will 2 designated students per period to assist with carrying student downstairs • Please email names of students by the end of the day
