    11. 4/3/2012 Africa : The future Opportunities SIZE AND GROWTH OF OFFSHORE BPO ( source :Gartner Report 2003) Gartner expects that Offshore BPO services will grow from $1.3B in 2002 to $24.3B in 2007, and will represent 14% of the total BPO market by 2007. India will remain the primary delivery location for offshore BPO but new geographies will emerge as alternative delivery zones. India’s revenues from BPO will grow from slightly under $1B in 2002 to $13.8B in 2007, its share of supply will be 57% of the offshore BPO market. Organizations have been cautious in their adoption of offshore BPO services up until now, so Gartner expects growth in offshore delivery to be continuous but moderate. The early tendency of companies to set up captive offshore centers by end users will progressively give way to a wider use of outsourcing, but will not disappear entirely as several enterprises will continue to set up their own back-office centers offshore.
