  2. 1. Discussion • Get into a group of 3 or 4 people who have also read your article. • Share you questions: Do not repeat same questions. • Ask 2 or 3 people to answer! Volunteer your answers! • If you disagree say why! if you agree say why! • Now find someone who has a different article. Summarize it and comment..are there any similarities? Differences?

  3. 2. My questions! • What is the main idea or question of each article? • What support and examples does the writer give? • What is the conclusion?

  4. 3. What causes some people to be courageous/do the right thing? • upbringing • responsibility for others; selfless behavior • right/wrong • conscience/religion • John F. Kennedy: ….”not because they loved (other people) better than themselves. On the contrary, it was precisely because they did love themselves – because each one’s need to maintain his own self-respect was more important…”
