  3. Discussion In groups, discuss how you feel Wallingford’s SSP implementation is going so far? What’s working? What isn’t?

  4. Revisiting Our Work: Today’s work will focus on COMPLETION of the following: • Identify what learning experiences you’re already providing • Do a gap analysis • Categorize your activities • Potentially assign staff • Create a timeline • Determine outcome measures

  5. Publishing The SSP Using the template provided, begin to organize how you will publish your SSP document. Remember: To date, the SSP is NOT submitted to SDE.

  6. Publishing On The Web: • South Windsor • Simsbury • Tolland • Region 14 Web docs begin as Word docs. • Use your template • Edit! • Be MORE concise, brief Look at the districts above to begin to “lay out” your plan.

  7. Next Steps • Complete TWO documents for publication • “Written” document (longer, more detailed) • Used for paper copies, submission to CSDE, detailed information to stakeholders requesting/requiring it • “Web” document (brief, concise language) • Kept as a MS Word doc (or similar) & send electronically to webmaster • Link to website can also be shared with stakeholders & CSDE • Revisit Implementation • How are we doing?

  8. Dropbox • File Sharing System • Can be shared teacher-teacher, teacher-student • Can be useful to deliver “canned” curriculum
