ROLE This position reports to the Chef Service Prevention HSE Member of the IA Ops HSE Division .

1. INTERNAL JOB BULLETIN JOB TITLE : HSE ENGINEERS DEPARTMENT: IA Ops HSE LOCATION: Tiguentourine LINE MANAGER: IA HSE Chef Service Prévention ROLE This position reports to the Chef Service Prevention HSE • Member of the IA Ops HSE Division. • Provides Technical HSE support to all IA Ops Divisions . • HSE Champion. • Provides Coaching & Mentoring to the Chef Section Prevention & Prevention Technicians. RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensures the application of, and compliance with IA Ops HSE Policies and Procedures . • Conduct HSE Studies & Reviews on new equipment and installations; Assists with HAZOP & HAZID Studies as required . • Manage the IA Ops HSE Incident Reporting Database (Synergi), ensuring that corrective actions are tracked and closed out in an efficient and timely manner . • Conduct Research & Development for new HSE Standards & Equipment . • Review Algerian Legislation and International Standards relating to Health & Safety requirements . • Contribute to the development and implementation of the IA Ops HSE Management system . • Provide technical input and assistance with the development, review and implementation of HSE Procedures as required . • Synergi Administrator – provides Technical HSE guidance and assistance to all IA Ops Divisions . • Prepare or assist, as required, the Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Technical HSE Reports . • Provide statistical analysis of IA Ops HSE Performance, Accidents & Incidents, and HSE Projects . • Provide Technical input to annual HSE Planning . • SPA for Contractor HSE Plans . • SPA for Integrity Management HSE metrics . • Provides technical HSE resources to FRAC Programme, Seismic Campaign, and Construction Projects . • Conduct Process Safety Reviews as required . • Participates in, and/ or facilitates and coordinates Task Risk Assessments & Operations Risk Assessments for Exploitation, Maintenance, Technical Support, DEP, Logistics & Construction . • Assists with internal and external HSE Audits & Inspections . • Assists with Technical HSE inputs for Incident Investigation, Incident Review & Analysis . • Provide Technical HSE support and assistance to the Chef Section/Service Prevention, Prevention Technicians and Field HSE Advisors . • Assist Petrofac and BP Engineering with the review, development and implementation of the IA Ops ER Plans & Procedures . EDUCATION • University Engineer (HSE) or equivalent. EXPERIENCE • 3 years HSE experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, and/or Petrochemical Industry. SKILLS • Good knowledge of HSE Systems and processes . • Excellent Analytical skills – Engineering background/aptitude . • Excellent Computer & IT skills . • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, French & Arabic preferred) . • Good Coaching & Mentoring skills . • Good Team member, with good leadership potential . • Self motivated and ambitious . • Willing to accept responsibility and accountability for Technical & Process related HSE issues . • Physical and mental ability for this position . • Ability to work in desert and remote areas and travel by plane .
