Guidelines for the reading quiz

Outside Reading consists of two parts:

1) The creative project component (guidelines the same as last semester)

2) The reading quiz that you create for your book (revised guidelines below)

  • Must be at least 15 questions

  • Avoid questions with identification answers: No names of characters, names of places, dates, “how many” questions. . .

  • Three of your fifteen questions should include a quote from the book. Connect quote to theme, character development, character inference, conflict, or climax of story.

  • “Who is the author of the book?” does not count as a question.
