  7. Our Commitment • (Re)engage Young Parents with our Catholic faith • Connect with parents • especially parents in their 20s and 30s (known as the “Millennials”) • adults in this market demographic have grown up with technology • Provide a powerful, comprehensive resource to guide people toward • a strong spiritual life • Catholic parenting • smart decisions about their children’s education • faithful marriages • a more powerful level of engagement with their local parishes The content is strong, the message is clear and the ability to (re)connect with the Church is our goal.

  8. Our Aspiration Helping more children attend Catholic school Proceeds go towards scholarships for Catholic education.

  9. Catholics Today As we all know, there are many lapsed Catholics out there, especially within the millennial generation.  Although they may not realize it, they need you to welcome and embrace them into your parish community. But if it’s been a while since they have been to mass, they may hesitate, unsure about how to connect. WeParentMore is here to help them re-engage with the Catholic faith and find you.

  10. Our Hopes We have high hopes for the use of WeParentMore in your parish, school and/or diocese to (re)engage young parents. We will facilitate their (re)connection with you and help them realize the important role a vibrant faith community plays in the rearing of their children.

  11. My Parish and School Search Via “My Parish and School” on the WeParentMore app, an individual can find a parish, school or diocese by searching by name, location and language spoken. The search results will appear in a list. The WeParentMore participants will be listed first with a small WeParentMoreicon to identify that they contain a wealth of additional information including mass times, news, calendars, parish/school events, school enrollment forms, etc. The other parishes and schools will simply be listed by name and address. These other listings will provide mass times, thanks to collaboration with masstimes.org, giving WeParentMore access over 100,000 parishes, worldwide.

  12. Search Results When individuals select a WeParentMore Participant’s enhanced listing, they will see the equivalent of a mini bulletin.  Each participating parish and schoolhas a personal set of pages to share information that is specific to its community and its young members.  Think of it as a mini-online bulletin dedicated to young families providing information about Mass times, Parenting groups, Special events, Parish registration and School enrollment. Once an individual finds you, he or she can mark your listing as a Favorite. They can use WeParentMore to request information from your parish or school office via an email link. They may ask for information to join the parish, inquire about baptism, request school and pre-school information.

  13. Cost to Become a Participating Parish/School Affordable and simple so that our Parish and School participants can provide timely information easily and raise money for scholarships for Catholic education. • $300 a year for a small parish or school with 250 students or less • $600 a year for a large parish or school with more than 250 students

  14. WeParentMore Participants Within a few days, of enrolling, you will each receive an email from info@weparentmore.org. Please check your junk mail. This message will contain your private username and password to add, access and update your WeParentMore Participant information. • When you log in, you will see that your status is Participant.

  15. WeParentMore Diocese Participants We also have the opportunity for a dioceses to participate and enroll the parishes and/or schools within the diocese as WeParentMore participants. When a diocese enrolls its parishes and/or schools, the diocese pays a portion of the costs for each parish/school to become a participant. Within a few days, of the diocese enrolling, each parish/school will each receive an email from info@weparentmore.org. Please check your junk mail. This message will contain your private username and password to access your WeParentMore Participant information which will allow you to update your information on our site. • When you log in, you will see that your status is Enrolled by my Diocese. On the login page you will be given the opportunity to make a $200 annual participant donation and change your status to WeParentMore School Participant (Originally Enrolled by my Diocese). This will directly contribute to scholarships for Catholic education. We believe this can be budgeted from your marketing account.

  16. WeParentMore Sponsors We have a few companies and organizations that have sponsored WeParentMore. With their support we are able to maintain and grow this app and keep the each Participant’s cost low. • These sponsorships are not sufficient to cover all the costs. Plus, since it is our aspiration that more children attend Catholic school, we are committed to raise money and give the proceeds to scholarships for Catholic education.

  17. Your Parish/School’s Sponsors Just like the back of the church bulletin, there is a section for sponsors within your custom pages on our site, to help offset the cost of participating and create a revenue stream for your parish/school. Seeking advertisers for your page will let you reach out to businesses in your community that want to connect with young parents.  The rates and terms of the sponsor ads are yours to set.  You can find one sponsor or several.  Once your sponsor knows that they will be in front of this key demographic, you may find sponsors that haven’t participated in your bulletin.  Do you have a pediatric dentist in the community?  Local Catholic hospital?  Children’s bookstore?  Toy store? Business owners who have products and services targeted at children and families will see this as a valuable place to have a presence, give them the opportunity to sponsor your custom page on our site. Their role as advertisers should more than offset the cost of being a WeParentMore participant and help young families in your parish/school connect with the local business that have the products and services they need.

  18. Promoting WeParentMore As a WeParentMoreparticipant, we will also train you to market and promote WeParentMore to your parishioners and surrounding community.  We suggest you identify your key communication tools and use them.  The bulletin is an obvious choice. If your parish/school has a webpage, Facebook, or twitter then be sure you promote WeParentMore there too.  We’ve designed a poster and a bookmark that you can print and post along with the WeParentMore link in your parish bulletin, on a poster in the narthex, in the office, the gathering space, the crying room, at parish events, at the local coffee shop, etc.  Include it in the baptismal packets and the registration packets provided to new families. We propose that the information be emailed to your parishioners, especially the parents of your religious education program and school.  We have designed a sample of this email which we will email to you after you add your participant information. Remember, current parishioners or young parents looking to join and reconnect with their Catholic parishes can visit www.weparentmore.org from any desktop or mobile device, which will also link them to your parish/school.

  19. Poster & Bookmark

  20. Google Analytics We can provide you with a wealth of information about what your parishioners are looking for on WeParentMore. We can tell you what pages they visit, how often they visit, and where they spend their time.  You may want to know that most of your 18-34  year olds are logging on to the Faith & Sacraments page trying to learn (or relearn) about the basics of their faith.  This knowledge may help you develop some programming at the parish.  Or maybe they’re all logging on to the Parent Resources page, following blogs of fellow Catholics. We can help you understand what this group of parishioners wants and how WeParentMore is helping to meet that need.
