  1. Are You Ready to be Chosen by God? Luke 1:26-56 1. In order to be ready, you need to become pure (vs. 27) Luke 1:26-27 In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, (27) to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin's name was Mary. Matthew 1:18-25 Psalm 24:3,4 2. In order to be ready, you need to be discerning (vs. 28-35).

Luke 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? Isaiah 7:14 Isaiah 9:6,7 3. In order to be ready, you need to be willing to believe what is impossible (vs. 36, 37). Luke1:36-37 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. (37) For with God nothing shall be impossible.

  3. 4. In order to be ready, you need to be humble before God (vs. 38-48) Luke 1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, Luke 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. 1 Peter 5:6 James 4:6-8,10 5. In order to be ready, you need to know your Bible (vs. 49-56). Mary quoted 8 verses from Psalms in this passage!
