2. About the film (in English) Bienvenue Chez les Ch’Tis is a film released in France last year. It is a comedy taking the mickey out of the north of France. The protagonist Philippe Abram's (Kad Merad) tried to get a transfer from his current job to one on the French south coastline by pretending to be handicapped. Unfortunately his ruse did not work and as punishment he was forced to go to Bergue in the north for 2 years away from wife and child. Continued on next slide

3. About the film (in English) -continued This southern French person was dreading it but as out turned out it was not that bad. But to keep his wife happy he had been telling her it was terrible when she tells him that she is coming as well Philippe had to tell his new friends what he had told his wife and they decided to help him by pretending to be what the wife believes. His wife then comes up north to be with he husband. Philippe then decides to trick his wife by getting all the towns folk to pretend to be really bad. This works until she decides to stay up north with Philippe. He then decides to tell his wife the truth and the Abram family all move up north.

4. About the film (in French) Bienvenue chez les ch’tis. C’est un film francais tourne en 2007 a lille au nord de la France. Il s’agit de un homme français qui est transféré jusqu'au nord. La nord est présumé être très mal! Il plus tard apprend que je is'nt si mal enfin. Sa femme a décidé de lui rendre visite ainsi les citadins ont dû simuler qu'ils étaient horribles. Il lui a dit que la vérité et la Famille Abrams ont mis le nord plus haut.
