  1. Narrative Paragraphs Point-of-ViewDefinition:from who or whom the story is told

  2. First Person Point-of-View Definition: a story told using I, me, we or us. Example: I was walking down the street. I found a $20 bill with my friend. We decided to spend it on something for us. We bought Oreos – a LOT of Oreos.

  3. Second Person Point-of-View Definition: a story told using you. Example: You are walking alone in a forest when a dragon approaches you. You tremble in fear and prepare for battle. What do you do next?

  4. Third Person Point-of-View Definition: a story told using he, she, them or names. Example: Bob was walking down the street when he found a $20 bill with his friend Jimbo. They decided to buy Oreos with the money…a LOT of Oreos.

  5. Third Person Omniscient Point-of-View Definition: a story told using he, she, them or names WHEN the narrator knows and sees all, including character’s thought. Example: Bob was walking down the street when he found a $20 bill with his friend Jimbo. He thought to himself, this is the best day ever. They decided to buy Oreos with the money, although Jimbo thought Red Vines would be better. But instead, they went for Oreos…a LOT of Oreos.
