BACKGROUND • Science of TM little understood outside of TM community • Contribution of TM to economy of a nation hard to quantify • No TM advocate at regional, world radio conferences • Delegates at conferences have little knowledge of importance of telemetry • TM spectrum regular candidate for reallocation due to attractive technical features

  4. PURPOSE • To create forum for exchange of information on potential TM spectrum issues • To better inform national, regional & international leaders of importance of telemetry to their economy & security • To inform & invite open participation by all TM practitioners, including government, industry, academia and others • To share information on use, research & development of new technologies for improving use of TM spectrum
