  2. INTRODUCTION We wanted to give all the children an opportunity to say what books they would like. We felt that at the start of this project the books in school weren’t very good because they were old and no one liked to read them. Our research question was: What kind of books do children like to read in school?

  3. Our Method Our method was to use a questionnaire to ask 6 children (boys and girls) from each class upwards from Year 3 to Year 6. Then we collected our data from our questionnaire and put it in our PowerPoint.

  8. Conclusion Years 3, 4 and 5 liked the books in school but year 6 didn’t but the majority wanted new books. So mostly everyone wanted new books. The year 3s mostly wanted comics. And the year 4s wanted more fiction. However the year 5 wanted adventure and biographies. As the year 6s wanted horror and adventure.

  9. Conclusion 2 We have achieved our goal which was to produce more books in school. The impact is that more people are reading because the new books are better quality. And the good news is…. Mrs. Jackson is going to order some more !!! 
