  3. Venus • Temperatures on Venus climb to 900° F! • Venus was named for the Roman Goddess of love and beauty. • Venus is almost the same size as Earth.

  4. Earth • Earth is the third planet from the Sun. • From space Earth looks like a ball covered with white clouds. • A year on Earth is 365 days long.

  5. Mars • Mars has 2 moons. • Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun. • Mars is about the size of Earth.

  6. Jupiter • Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun. • Jupiter has 16 known moons. • Jupiter is the largest planet from the Sun.

  7. Saturn • Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun. • Saturn has at least 18 planets. • A year on Saturn is 30 Earth-days long.

  8. Uranus • Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun. • Uranus has 5 large moons and 10 small moons. • Uranus is blue and green.
