  1. LOS ÁRBOLES FRUTALES “El naranjo”

  2. ASPECTO GENERAL DEL ÁRBOL, TRONCO Y CORTEZA. • - El naranjo es un árbol pequeño. • - Su tronco es de color gris y tiene un grosor de 11 cm. • - Su corteza es lisa. • - Podemos encontrar algún bicho moviéndose por el tronco, por ejemplo hormigas.

  3. - El naranjo tiene hojas simples. - Sus hojas son perennes, suaves de un verde intenso y brillante. - El limbo tiene forma oval y es grande. HOJAS

  4. FLORES • - Son blancas y muy aromáticas. • - Aparecen solitarias o en pequeños racimos durante la primavera. • - Presentan cinco pétalos blancos. • - 20-25 estambres y pistilo de color amarillo intenso.

  5. FRUTO • - El fruto del naranjo es la naranja. • - Su corteza es más o menos rugosa y de color anaranjado. • - Tiene un tamaño de 7-8 cm. • - Es un fruto comestible y su pulpa es muy jugosa. • - Presenta forma redondeada y ovalada sin semillas.

  6. ORIGEN • - Es un árbol originario de extremo oriente. • - Las primeras naranjas dulces conocidas en Europa fueron introducidas por los portugueses desde la India. • - En Túnez se celebra, entre finales de abril y comienzos de mayo, la tradicional Fiesta de Las Naranjas, que coincide con el festival de las flores.
