Appearance of work - His computer-inhanced photos have been used in: advertisements books bookmarks magazines cards calendars Style of photography The style of photography he is known for is nature & wildlife. I think his style is about seeing nature and wildlife as beautiful. Appearance of Work and Style of Photography

  4. Inspiration Lewis' experience of working at The Ansel Adams Gallery, greatly inspired him. He was able to meet and observe some of the greatest photographers & it influenced him in his development as a photographer.

Some Interesting Facts • Lewis Kemper is a photographer of Ancient Ancestors of the Southwest, published in 1996. • He is an editor to Outdoor Photographer & PC photo magazines. • He normally shoots landscape photos in 4x5 and uses 35mm for wildlife and macro photography. • He always uses Photoshop-("Photoshop is a big part of my life and work. There is no image that can not be improved by a little work in the digital darkroom!) • He has been honored to be included in Canon's Explorers of Light program (the program recognizes 78 of the country's most influential photographers).

  6. The picture uses natural lighting. It's amazing! Perfect composition techniques- Angled great so there is no unecessary mergers, perfect lighting. It even makes an abstract image. main subject- getting view through the tree tunnel.  I chose this picture first because I love forests and when the sun shines through, everything is perfect.   7. Natural lighting- brilliant! Main subject- 2 parts- sunset  reflection on the clouds & the rocky formations formed. Comp. techniques- prefect lighting used, leveled great, all eyes on beauty! I picked this because the sky is a big part of my style and love for nature.  Sunset #1, South Tufa, Mono LakNe, CA

  8. I think it's natural, the lighting used from the lava. It looks beautiful. Main subject-  capturing lava's light in a fountain. Comp. tachniques- using the main source of light from the lava. I liked this photo because the lava makes a pretty looking, lit-up fountain. I always thought lava was cool.  Doube picture combination - 1st & 2nd Lava Fountains, Waikupanaha, Big Island, Hawaii

  9. Light from Aurora Borealis (natural) makes an eye grasping wonder- Love it Main subject- Grasping the beautiful light from the sky, it's our attenion grabber. Uses Aurora Borealis for light. Horizon line underneath the main subject. I chose this photo for the beauty of the light and I love photos of Aurora Borealis.  Aurora Borealis Detifoss, a National Park in Iceland

  10. The lighting is natural, comes from the sun peaking through the cliffs. Main subject- catching the sunlight through a small crack. The light makes you look, wonder. Comp. techniques- I think there could be some leading lines and framing to see the sun THROUGH the opening in the rocks. This photo interests me with the light peaking through.   11. Natural light from the sky, reflecting off the lake. One of the prettiest photos I've ever seen. Main subject- the sky and it's reflection. Comp. techniques- Horizon line (also reflected), pretty lighting. I love this picture and used it for last, the colors are gorgeous.   12. Theme  There is one overall theme to all of his pictures, so I decided to put the theme here in the last slide.
