  • Introduce you to my research on the EdD

  • inform you of how some educators are using the ‘social web’

  • share with you some of my early data and analysis

  • provide stimuli for discussion with peers.


The social web
The Social Web

  • “The Social Web is an ecosystem of participation, where value is created by the aggregation of many individual user contributions.”

  • “We now have millions of humans offering their knowledge online, which means that the information is stored, searchable, and easily shared.”
