  6. Celebrating 25 years of payroll giving “At ASOS we want to give colleagues the flexibility to choose where they want to give, and the support they need to make it as easy and efficient as possible. It’s been a great success at ASOS and we would encourage any company who hasn’t yet done so to introduce Payroll Giving. ASOS wish Payroll Giving every success in the next 25 years!” Louise McCabe, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, ASOS “Carphone Warehouse wishes Payroll Giving a very happy 25th anniversary. We’ve promoted Payroll Giving for a number of years and believe it’s one of the easiest ways for colleagues to donate to the charities they care about.” Kesah Trowel, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, Carphone Warehouse “Since Bliss introduced Payroll Giving as a way of supporting the charity more than ten years ago, it has provided a significant source of income for us and has allowed us to increase the reach of our work. It’s wonderful that Payroll Giving is celebrating 25 years of helping to bring donors and charities together for so many good causes.” Caley Eldred, Head of Fundraising & Marketing, Bliss “Marie Curie Cancer Care is very happy to be celebrating 25 years of Payroll Giving. So far, we have raised a significant £22million which has funded an incredible 1.1million  nursing hours to provide free end of life care allowing patients with cancer and other terminal illnesses to die with dignity surrounded by family and friends. We hope that Payroll Giving gains more support and realises its full potential for growth in the coming years.” Fabian French, Director of Fundraising, Marie Curie Cancer Care

  7. What does payroll giving mean to….. The Dogs Trust? Last year Payroll Giving generated almost half a million pounds for Dogs Trust. These donations helped us to make remarkable progress in dog welfare. The redevelopment of Dogs Trust Shrewsbury was a massive success. Our new state of the art kennels has attracted a lot of public interest and with it the number of dogs rehomed from the Centre has reached record levels. The launch of our innovative City Dogs Project has proved an effective way to promote responsible dog ownership in some of London’s poorest boroughs. We even opened our first ever 'sniffery' - a special sensory garden for dogs at our Centre in West London where dogs can sniff, play and dig to their hearts content. None of this would be possible without the public’s generosity of which payroll giving has played an important part in helping us to make such plans.

  8. Impact of Professional Fundraising Organisations In 2011/12 PFOs have: secured over 40,000 new payroll giving donations generated more than £5m in annual value of new payroll giving donations
