  2. Who is included? FY11 • Standard curriculum students • Speech impaired • Gifted • Hospital Homebound • English Language Learners (ELL) who entered an ESOL program on or before FCAT Writing February, 2008 Same as High Standards Calculation

  3. Numerator ? .Denominator 20 Who is eligible? FY11 Denominator: • Did NOT meet FCAT Reading and/or FCAT Math graduation requirement following March 2010 administration

  4. Numerator ? .Denominator 18 Who is eligible? FY11 Denominator: • Enrolled full time (Surveys 2 and 3) for two consecutive years (2009-10 and 2011) in the same school

  5. Numerator ? .Denominator 15 Who is eligible? FY11 Denominator: • In grades 10, 11, or 12 during 2009-10 (prior year) • In grades 11 and 12 in 2010-11(current year)

  6. Numerator ? .Denominator 12 Who is removed from the denominator? FY11 • Students in 9th grade promoted to 11th grade • Students with passing SAT or ACT* *Note: SAT and ACT scores may be applied toward graduation requirement only after students have taken the FCAT three times. However, the requirement to take the FCAT three times prior to using the SAT or ACT scores to satisfy graduation requirement shall not apply to a student who transferred into the Florida public school system in the twelfth grade.

  7. Numerator 6 .Denominator 12 Who is eligible? FY11 Numerator: • Students in denominator • Students with a scale score of at least 300 in FCAT Reading (DSS 1926) and/or FCAT Math (DSS 1889) administered in the • Fall of 2010, or • Spring of 2011

  8. Numerator 6 .Denominator 12 = 50% How are the bonus points calculated? FY11 • At least 10 students in denominator for both Reading and Math • Numerator / Denominator = Retake % • At least 50% met FCAT graduation requirement in both Reading and Math
