The Interreg IV C framework / Projects under Priority 1 ‘Innovation and the knowledge economy’ Information Society Exchange of experience and knowledge, transfer and further development of policies dedicated to: • developing ICT-based public services to increase the productivity and competitiveness of businesses and entrepreneurs • promoting the development and use of ICT-based services and products (for example in public services such as e-government and e-health, bringing e-government to regions and businesses) • enhancing the participation of the public in the information society, e.g. programmes for improving computer skills • establishing better ICT connections between regions

Guidelines to prepare the content of the project We have to take into account : • The Interreg IV C framework • The wishes of the partners • The offer of good practices from the partner • The necessity of differentiating from B3 Regions - On the topic - On the geographic scope Our proposal : Targeting on high speed broadband access (100 Mbs/s)

Project activities • Component 1:Management and coordination • Component 2: Communication and dissemination • Organization of seminars, workshops, conferences • Participation to various events • Creation of a web site, emailing, leaflets ... • Component 3: Exchange of experience • Technical assistance provided by donors to set up each partner action plan • Organization of field visit to better understand some good practices

Project budget • Total budget : 300 000 to 3 000 000 € • Our target : around 1 000 000 € to 2 000 000 €(Total budget for next call : 15 M€ - Priority to Priority 2 projects) • First Budget draft : • Coordination : around 100 k€ (Niverlan and the Burgundy Region) • Communication and dissemination : around 100 k€ (Erisa) • Activities : around 100 k€ per partner / country (8-12)

Selection of the partners • Conditions for partners to join the project : • Good practices to share on the topics of the project • Interest in transferring other partner’s good practices • Capacity to mobilise the public authority in charge of ERDF • Compatibility with partner’s regional OP • Project open to the participating partners but also to new partners (Baltic Countries, Eastern countries ...)

  19. Calendar of the project • Deadline :5th of March 2010 • First draft of the project : 31st of January 2010 (with a possible second meeting early January) • Preparation work with partners and STC in order to complete the project for the 15th of February 2010 • Administrative works and official sending of the project for the 1st of March
