  • Title page 12, RIGHT side: EGYPT (Chapter 2, section 2).

  • Fill in the following under “WORD”

  • Title the RIGHT side of page 13 “Egypt & Nubia” (Chapter 4, section 1)

    • Update your Table of Contents

  • Fold the paper in half vertically

  • Make 5 rows for your 2 columns

  • In the left rows, right the following topics in the middle of each square:

    • Nomads rule Egypt(p 89)

    • New Kingdom of Egypt (pp. 90-91)

    • Empire Declines(p. 91)

    • Kushites Conquer the Nile (pp. 92-93)

    • Golden Age of Meroe (p. 94)

  • As you read each section, write 5 or fewer “magnet” words that magnetically “attract” to the term on the left. You will be writing these words around this term, keeping to the left side of your fold.
