  3. Who are teamBEDS&LUTON ? • One of forty four County Sports Partnerships across England & Wales. • Funded and performance managed primarily through Sport England . Funding sourced from the National Lottery. • Our Vision :-Working in partnership at the heart of the community to support, develop and promote high quality opportunities to allow everyone to get involved, stay involved and succeed in sport and physical activity. • Responsibility for Bedfordshire & Luton. • Hosted through Active Luton.

  4. How can we help you ? • We hold and administer funding pots for participation in sporting initiatives and development of your coaching workforce. We also provide support and guidance with submission of application to external funders for a variety of different purposes. • teamBEDS&LUTON Funding Pots - Identification of opportunities; support with the application process; Quick response times and straightforward post application process. • Sport England Funding Pots – Identification of opportunities; support with the application process. Assistance with completion of post award paperwork.

Funding available from teamBEDS&LUTON • Funding is available directly from teamBEDS&LUTON in the following areas :- • Sport Participation initiatives – Sportivate, Get Back Into and Satellite Clubs (School/Club Links), Workplace Challenge • Coaching Bursaries – To support Satellite Clubs & participation initiatives.

Funding available through Sport England • Small Grant Fund - £300 to £10,000 available to fund sports clubs and sporting initiatives. • Facility Funding – Inspired facilities, Iconic facilities, themed funding - £20,000 - £3Million • Playing Fields – Protecting Playing Fields - £20K - £100K . Sport must be played on grass. • Innovation Fund - £150K - £500K available for capital developments that significantly reduce energy and/or water consumption.

  7. External Funding Pots • Bedfordshire & Luton Community Foundation. A variety of funding opportunities available up to a maximum figure of £7,500. All of the funding pots have a health & wellbeing agenda. Further details are available via the following website http://www.blcf.org.uk/ • Wixamtree Trust. supports projects based in Bedfordshire that benefit the people of this county. • Support is provided to organisations that are either registered as a charity or whose activities are considered to be charitable. www.wixamtree.org • Steel Trust. Invests c £330K a year in Bedfordshire & Luton on projects that focus on improving health & wellbeing and improving the life chances of the disadvantaged. Investments are made to charitable organisations or those considered to have a charitable purpose. www.steelcharitabletrust.org • NGB’s – Some NGB’s have funding pots for facilities i.e Football Foundation.
