Inspirations from Caring For Country course. • Created an online Indigenous Perspectives resource for CCPS staff to use. • Organised Maluerindi Clan incursion for K-2 during Term 2 and follow up educational activities. • Organised a sister class for Year 3 with a Year 3/4 class at Murruputiyanuwu Catholic Primary School at Wurrimyanga on Bathurst Island, NT. • Organised of a fundraising event at CCPS during our NAIDOC celebrations – proceeds to go to Murruputiyanuwu Catholic Primary School. • In the process of planning a Bush Tucker Garden to be built on the K-1 site in 2013.

  4. 2 . Incursion - The Maluerindi Clan from the Daingatti tribe in North Western NSW. Learning some dance techniques. Learning about Indigenous tools.

  5. 2. Year 2 educational experiences following the Maluerindi Clan incursion.

  6. 3. Murruputiyanuwu Catholic Primary School. • 3H engaged in email correspondence with a Year 3/4 class taught by Melissa Anderson at Murruputiyanuwu School. • Continuing beyond 2012 • Fundraising event - NAIDOC Week.

  7. 4. NAIDOC Celebrations Book donations for Murruputiyanuwu School Library. Mufti day to raise money for literacy resources at Murruputiyanuwu School.

  8. Bush Tucker Garden • Plan to create a Bush Tucker garden with CCPS Earth Kids in 2013. • Currently working with students on an application to council for assistance with plant purchase and advice.

  9. Future plans • Year 2 Science – Push and Pull • Flight of boomerangs • Year 2 HSIE – The Need for Shelter • Aboriginal perspective – Living with the Land
