  8. Arrow Cards • Arrow cards can be used for a number of different activities relating to place value and a partitioning of a number. • The templates for the arrow cards includes H, T, U but can be extended to larger number.

  14. Short Term Goals • Asking the children different question to promote critical thinking. • Focus and encouraging children. • Encourage children to help each other.

  15. Instructional strategies and tasks • To provide student with time for group discussion. • Students to explain how they came to an answer. • Provide more opportunities to questions.

  16. Challenges The principal may not agree with my approach Parents may not understand my methods. Parents want more work in the copies since it is activity based. Solutions I will share my planner with the principal and invite her in the class when children are busy in different activities. I will keep in touch with the parents through news letters. Solutions to anticipated challenges
