What’s the Air Force CGOC? • A system for base-level councils to interact and achieve synergistic effects through collective effort and knowledge sharing • An organized network of CGOs working together to promote the 4 pillars of the CGOC: • professional development • base support • community service • esprit-de-corps

What’s the Air Force CGOC? • Vision • To serve as the premier CGO information portal and advocate for issues to senior leaders, while improving military and civilian community relationships • Purpose • To promote the development of CGOs through a geographical regional structure system • To provide a communication network to deliver the pulse of the CGOs, represented by the regional CGOCs, to Air Force Senior Leadership at Air Staff • To develop and maintain an information network to enhance and promote the 4 pillars of the CGOC • To maintain CGO participation through recruitment & retention

Conference History • 93 attendees from 50 bases in 2003 (Patrick AFB FL) • 60 attendees from 30 bases in 2004 (Peterson AFB CO) • 50 attendees from 34 bases in 2005 (Arnold AFB TN) • 155 attendees from 43 bases in 2006 (Nellis AFB NV) • 187 attendees from 57 bases in 2007 (Washington DC) • 156 attendees from 32 bases in 2008 (San Antonio, TX) • 250 attendees from 72 bases in 2009 (Newport News, VA) • 213 attendees from 63 bases in 2010 (San Francisco, CA)
