This includes one on one, classroom guidance, and group work. • Individual Counseling • Group/Classroom Guidance • Responsive Services • Scholarships and Financial Aid planning • Career exploration • College planning/application process Location and Time: The Von Steuben Counseling Department is located in room 109 and 111.  The office is open on school days from 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m.  Students are encouraged to see their counselor during their lunch period.  Parents interested in scheduling a meeting with a teacher can contact Ms. Plaud at (773) 534-5100 ext. 22008.   12. Refer your student to their counselor • Youth Guidance Counseling available • Outside counseling referrals Social/Emotional Counseling

  13. Must inform the attendance office and their counselor as soon as you are aware of a necessary extended absence • Student must return with documentation from physician • Counselor will work with teachers to collect homework/assignments • Parents are responsible to collect textbooks Student Hospitalization/Extended Absences
