  2. Executive Summary Department of Labor’s Office of Worker’s Compensation Program (OWCP) has launched a Re-Enrollment Project , that will provide assurance that all data referenced in the current provider files of all actively enrolled provider’s is verified and updated where applicable. This verification process will result in updates applied with the most current and accurate information for bill processing.

  3. Provider File Information to be Verified for Re-Enrollment • The re-enrollment project, is an automated process conducted using several public databases. The information identified from the public databaseswill be compared with the providerscurrent enrollment data. The compare/verification will include: • Provider demographics, • NPI, Taxonomy • Specialty type • Licensure • EFT and • Proof of Medicare Certification where applicable.

  4. Re-enrollment Process The Re-Enrollment Process will allow verified provider data to be systematically uploaded directly into the Xerox provider file. The provider will experience no interruptions or delays in receiving payment for services rendered. Please Note: Your assigned Xerox provider number will remain the same.

  5. Updates/Changes to the Provider File

  6. Update/Change If your current provider file has been verified via the public databases, and identified that the verified provider data is differentfrom the current provider file data (e.g. license number, address, telephone, taxonomy, etc.) the provider will receive an “Update/Change Letter” applicable to any or all of the OWCP Programs: (FECA, ENRG, orBLNG). The letter will alert you as the provider, of the specific changes that have been made to your provider file. You will have 30 calendar days to contest any verified data referenced in the letter. **No response required from the provider, unless the provider disagrees with the information listed on the letter.

  7. Re-Enrollment Required

  8. Unable To Verify Provider Data Manual Re-Enrollment is Required • If after the provider file has been verified, and the provider data is unable to be verified via any public databases, the provider will receive a Re-Enrollment Letter and Re-Enrollment Application. • The letter will show the missing or invalid information that could not be verified. • The Re-Enrollment Application must be completed andreturnedwithin 30 calendar days. • **Note: Failure to return the completed application will result in processing delays.

  9. Returning Re-Enrollment Application (RTP)

  10. Return to Provider (RTP) • If an incomplete Re-Enrollment application is received, the application will be returned to the provider along with an RTP Letter that will identify the missing information. • Note: Corrected information is requiredto be returned within 30 days of the date on the RTP letter.

  11. To ensure that all provider information in the provider record remains current, the verification of provider data will be conducted continuously (e.g. license expiration date, address, telephone, taxonomy, etc.) as long as the provider is an actively enrolled provider in one of the OWCP Programs (FECA, DEEOIC, or DCMWC).
