How to get sleek hair at home step by step… • Get a head start on your sleek style by using a straightening shampoo and rinse-out conditioner/treatment. • Don't start drying wet hair. Use a towel to remove as much moisture as possible before blow-drying. • Prep your hair with Keratin Sleek range. (Keratin sleek Tame) • Choose the right brush for the look you’re after. Use a paddle brush for blow drying super-straight styles. • Start by sectioning Then dry hair in small sections, beginning at the back of your head and moving forward. • Blow-dry like a pro use a hairdryer with a nozzle. 3. Hairstyle Appreciation Day On Tuesday 30th April we will be celebrating Hairstyle Appreciation Day! Its an exciting day for everyone to express their individuality and reminisce the uniqueness of styles from all different era’s of hair trends. Choose your era… 1920’s – The decade of the bob. Styled with tight curls, low buns and headbands across the forehead. 1930’s – Soft, defined finger waves set close to the face, or tight, ringlet pin curls were very fashionable through this time. 1940’s - This decade was all about elegance and sophistication. Women spent a lot of their time styling their hair in waves and victory rolls. 1950’s – Women’s hairstyles were immaculate and elegant through this decade. Hair was set in rollers giving volume and soft waves to long hair. 1960’s – Early 60’s was all about volume with beehives and bouffants. Late 60’s hairstyles changed into long, sleek and straight hair with a centre parting . 1970’s – The hairdryer became very popular so hairstyles became much more relaxed and natural with loose waves. Hair cuts became much more feathered to give texture. 1980’s - The decade of the mullet and tight perms! Hair was always very big and lots of hairspray was needed to give ultimate hold to extreme styles. Here at Hairs and Graces we joined in with doing something funny for money on Red Nose Day! We all dressed up in pyjama’s and had a cake sale. It was a brilliant day for everyone knowing we were helping such a good cause. We managed to raise £97.50 altogether which would go towards saving 20 lives! Thank you to everyone who donated and made it a fun, worthy day.

4. Bridal Packages • Wedding season is fast approaching • Planning your wedding can be very stressful! Wedding season is fast approaching , we are here to help and give you the perfect hair for your big day! • Contents of our Bridal Package: • Consultation with one of our professional stylists to discuss ideas and styles to complete your look on the day. • Trial Day to have a practice of the hairstyle to determine timing, alter any parts of the look that you wish to, have a taste of what it will look like and put your mind at ease. Feel free to bring hair accessories that will be worn on the day. • On the day you will have nothing to worry about! The hairstyle will have been perfected so we can create that ideal look for you on your big day. The payment will have already been made which means you have even less to worry about. Any bridesmaids or other guests can also book in too. • All for from £45! • No time to come to the salon on the day? We can come to you! There will be a call out fee depending on the distance. We can also arrange make-up to be done as well. • We require a 50% deposit upfront for any bridal package.
