Refugees, refusal to help & a dire need for humanitarian aid • White House refuses to provide any further aid to the Syrian rebels • Highly unfavorable during an election time • Obama unable to help • China and Russia • Oppose UN Resolutions • Allies of Regime • 1.5 million Syrians have been displaced • Over 30,000 people have been killed • Severe human rights violations

What would you do? • Do you think Syrian civilians want intervention? • Or do they want to win on their own? • What would you do as the United States? • Would you act as a bystander or would you try to help the innocent people being killed? • Do you think it’s okay to disregard human rights at the expense of politics?

What you can do • Create awareness and be informed • Hold events and discussion during meetings • Petition the White House to make this issue a priority • Donate to relief organizations providing aid • Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper • Join or organize a rally and generate awareness • Join the Syria twitter campaign
