  1. The Mathematical AC/DC Concert % ¾ AC/DC Live at the Wachovia + 15.36 By: Cole VanDorick and Ryan Weikel

  2. Nancy and Spencer are going to an AC/DC concert with their two parents. They have $600.00 to spend. They already spent 3/5 of their money on four tickets that they bought on Ticketmaster.com. How much did they spend total on tickets? How much was each ticket individually? Ticket Master Four AC/DC Tickets- ?$ Whooo!! AC/DC tickets!!

  3. On the way to the Wachovia Center, they stopped to get gas. It cost 1/10 of their original money. How much money did they spend on gas? Fill ‘er up with regular Dave. Cash or credit?

  4. In the parking lot of the Wachovia Center, a street thug stole Nancy’s ticket. Luckily, they found some guy selling tickets in their section for 50% off. How much money did they spend on her new ticket? How much did they save? Gimme your ticket!! Oh no! He stole my ticket!

  5. Tickets! Get your tickets here! 50% off! One ticket please That guy looks awfully familiar… AC/DC

  6. Once they got into the Wachovia Center, they found their seats. Wow! Look how these seats are. We can see the whole stage! If there are 40 rows, and they are 7/8 of the way up, what row are they in?

  7. At intermission, Nancy complained she was hungry. So they went to get food. If Spencer wanted a hotdog for $5.50, Nancy wanted a pretzel for $4.50, and each parent wanted a nice cold beverage for $7.25. How much money did they spend on food? I DEMAND FOOD!!

  8. After they got back to their seats, AC/DC started playing again. In the “Dirty Deeds”, Spencer noticed something. Look how short Angus Young is compared to Cliff Williams. I wonder what the difference in height is? If Angus is 5 1/6 feet tall, and Cliff Williams is 6 1/12 feet tall, what is the difference in their height?

  9. When the concert ended, the four of them went to the lobby to purchase souvenirs. Nancy wanted a life- size poster of Angus Young for $13.75, Spencer got a Black Ice T- shirt for $15.25, and every body got devil horns for $14.00 each. How much did they spend? Did they get the discount? If so, how much did they save? You’re like a bad penny! Yay! A poster! Yay! A T-shirt! Spend 75$, and get a 10% discount

  10. Challenge Question Did they stay under their budget of $600.00? If so, how much money is left? If not, How much money do they need?

  11. Have a Rockin’ Holiday!!
