  6. Stand-Off Detection (SOD) SPO-7 SOD units use advanced Millimeter Wave technology to provide instant real-time explosive device detection at ranges up to 7 to 20 meters. Passive millimeter wave, remote metal & non-metal (indoor-only) detectors: • Completely passive; no radiation emitted • Non-imaging; no personal privacy issues • Difference detector between aim point/reference point • Visual Detection System • Threat window indications of differences • Operator assesses potential threats using system indicators • Benefits: • Remote real-time threat detection facilitates layered security • Safe stand-off detection allows more appropriate response • Rapid deployment capability with only a few hours of operator training • Covert surveillance capability • Operationally tested in maritime and mass transit venues SPO-20

Checked Baggage Screening Technologies Explosives Detection Systems (EDS) are similar to Computer Tomography (CT) machines used in the medical field.Through a sophisticated analysis of each checked bag, the EDS machines can quickly determine if a bag contains a potential threat.  CTX 9400 – GE/Invision • High throughput EDS specifically designed for integration into airline baggage handling systems.
