LEARNING OBJECTIVES • By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to : • Understand the negative impact of excessive waste through simple discussion • Compare the weight of the rubbish in their classroom between the starting and at the end of the project by using weighing scale. • Identify the type of waste (recyclable/non-recyclable) and listthe waste reduction methods in the forms of write ups and posters • Implement the waste reduction methods and compare the number of waste accumulated by each group • Present the findings using multimedia presentation during a mini exhibition related to the project

  7. BRIEF DESCRIPTION • include pupils from SK ParitKemang, SK Parit Lapis and SK Sri Aman; • analyze and come up with the efficient methods of waste reduction; • facilitated by teachers from different subjects (English, Malay, Maths, Arts,Civics/Local Study); • 3 months of duration • instill pupils awareness of the various forms of rubbish found in their environment and how it can be reduced.
