  2. SITUATION ANLYSIS • Poor public awareness regarding management of acute medical emergencies and Trauma • Poor referral system and ambulance services • Poor triage and ED equipment • Poor specialized support teams; eg trauma team and crash teams • Lack of audits and statistical data

TARINNING and ACCREDITATION • GOALS ; how can we in the UK support our colleagues in Sudan ? • LIMITATIONS; • no one was available from Sudan • IELETS major obstacle; suggestion the SDU UK I fund an English training program for those taking the exam • OPPORTUNITIES; • Clinical attachments x2 at a time • Hallam University in Sheffield; • paid training in EM for 3 years • 10 K/ candidate • Can work for 25 hr/week

  4. SERVICE DELIVERY SUGGESTION : nominated persons to link and liaise with specific hospital groups identifying needs plan of action education

  5. SDU UK & IRecommendations • International faculty from Diaspora • Situation analysis • Information gathering demographics and outcomes • Training and accreditation • To include nursing and paramedical staff needs • Delivery of courses and master classes in specific skills • Service delivery • To include the community involved
