Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) • Written agreement between private company and governmental agency to work together on a project • Shares resources; both partners may bring funds to the R&D project • Preserves proprietary information flowing both ways • Technology transfer tool that allows commercialization of federally developed technology
