  2. This document is intended to provide mood-shots of Custom Wood Beams manufactured and installed ceilings. The captions below each image typically describe the room, species, surface preparation techniques and finish style or color. Images tend to be the most useful way to help a home-owner make a decision. It shows actual product in its final form, surrounded by a fully furnished and decorated room. It also shows how outstanding our designs and work truly are, and why more-and-more designers and contractors rely on us.

  3. SELECT cypress was used in this design and finished in a smooth finish with a multi layer SATIN clear coat over stain. Simple and clean.

  4. For the smooth surface in this design the material choice was hard maple finished with rich walnut dye stain and toned layers of finish coat producing a deep transitional finish. Additional views on next page.

  6. This design was simple, northern Poplar, Smooth Surface Preparation with satin multi layer clear coat.This room opened-up into a foyer, where matching columns and paneling were also delivered.

  7. Choice of material for this design was smooth prepared white northern poplar with a satin multi layer clear coat over stain.In this very large room the beams helped to tie in the kitchen cabinets and custom built-ins.

  10. This was a truss style box beam, non-structural design in select cypress with a rough sawn surface, included were massive corbels and a crown molding for the breakfast nook. A standard stain with 3 clear coats was applied.

  11. this hand crafted mantle with matching finish was the continuation of the corbel theme . Rough sawn select cypress was used to match the ceiling beams, finished with standard stain followed by 3 clear coats.

  13. This design greatly shows the mineral streaks common in southern poplar. These beams are in smooth surface with light colored olive stain with and a semi gloss finish.

  19. In this lobby area of a high rise condo The T&G was a #2 Cypress, with Select Cypress box beams. The wood band underneath the hand rail was also Select Cypress. All surfaces were smooth stained satin multi layer finish.

  21. This design was a recessed box beam with tray and perimeter crown. The species was African mahogany, stained with a satin clear finish. Soffit also includes a perimeter box beam.
