  2. Phil 2:14-16 14Do all things without grumbling or disputing; 15so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, 16holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain

  8. Phil. 2: 15-16 15so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, 16holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain

  9. 1 Cor. 10:13 13No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

  10. Eph 5:1 1Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children

  11. Eph 5:8-16 8for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light 9(for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), 10trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.

  12. 11Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; 12for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.

  13. 14For this reason it says,
         "Awake, sleeper,
         And arise from the dead,
And Christ will shine on you." 15Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, 16making the most of your time, because the days are evil.

  14. 1 Peter 3:15-16 15but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; 16and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame.

  15. Phil 3:14, 17 14I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 17Brethren, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us
